Mostly, parents in my district will ask the office or other teachers for reccommendations. I tell everyone that I'm willing to tutor, so they pass my name along. I also have contacted local child psychologists, who put me on their list (sometimes a parent will ask them about getting a tutor), and they can also pass my name along. I've never put up fliers, but you could try supermarkets and local businesses. You might also consider taking an ad out in the classifieds. Good luck!
