I met the teacher I will be working with today. She seems very organized and prepared. I feel better but at the same time overwhelmed. She went over the class schedule and some of the things she expects. I think one of the biggest things is going to be learning how to effectively communicate with the students. It's a whole different world than general education. I have been assigned a first grade boy to start with. My first day is 8/30 so I'll be sure and post.
