Last year was my first year, and I always second-guessed myself because no one but our principal told me I was doing a good job. One day a parent came to my room and said, "I was telling another teacher this, and I thought you should be the one I told. My daughter really enjoys your class, and you are doing a wonderful job." It was toward the end of the year, but it's better late than never. We get lots of stuff like that on the last day of school; I wish more parents would let us know along the way.
