Word of the Day
By Rosemary

Clip to ScrapBook
ONe of my classroom jobs is the etymologist. That child chooses a word from a children's dictionary. The child says the word, spells it,gives the part of speech and the definition and then picks two children to use the word in a sentence. Then you can write the word of an index card or sentence strip and put it on the word wall.
