Clip to ScrapBook
I went to the dollar store and bought a pack of 2 birthday signs for a 1.00! They were really nice. One is a banner with Happy birthday on it. The background is silver and the letters are in different colors. Then there's
another banner with it that has the Happy Birthday letters strung together. I'm going to hang the silver banner outside of my classroom (right by the door) when it's someone's birthday. Below it, I'm going to put up a decorated piece of paper with their name on it made by me! Above the chalk board I'm going to hang up the letters that are strung together. As a present from me, I've found
"On this day in history" information online and famous birthdays as well. Those will be given to the student as well as some candy and an extra credit point that can be stapled to an assignment, quiz, or test for one point extra credit. At the end of the day, we will sing happy birthday and if they brought in treats they can pass them out.
