I want to add something that I never thought about until reading all the posts again today. I told you all about not "going out" where you teach, but this is kind of ironic concerning "dress". When I was student teaching, I student-taught where I lived, which was a beach town. Back in the 80's because I lived 2 blocks from the beach, I was at the beach every day and was always in a bikini (could wear one back then!). Lots of my students would come by and talk to me (5th graders) with their parents as I was laying out on the beach. Nothing was ever said about that. Isn't it weird? You just couldn't be see at a place that served alcohol!
