I can NOT believe this nutcase of a mother, I had to laugh when I read the post though, I mean its just so outrageous and absurd, yet at the same time believable in today's world, that someone would have the nerve to not
only stop, but the topper, to take your photo and, to top that! send it to the principal! LOL i am happy that your principal found it as ridiculous as we all do and I would avoid that woman like the plague. I would feel uncomfortable if I was wearing more risque clothes than my work apparel and saw a student while I was out with my boyfriend or something, but for the woman to say something,

I'm just in shock. I definitely agree with the previous posters and will take the same advice as a new teacher in a small town myself- never go out in the town where you work (even if its also the town that you currently live in) I go 20 minutes away always and have yet to see a student or their family at a restaurant or store, except at the mall. Its sad that you have to rearrange your life sometimes to avoid people, but it will most certainly be worth it in this case!
