special ed discipline
By diana

Clip to ScrapBook
Yes, special ed students must be taught appropriate social skills as well as pratical learning skills. Discipline, which may appear different for different situations, is not only necessary but essential. The goal of all education is to provide students with the necessary skills to live and perform as independently as possible. Discipline is a part of that education. Ensuring that students know how what is and isn't appropriate is critical to succesful independence.
