I am in the same situation. I was hired last Monday night for a newly added K class, was at the school all day Tuesday setting up, and had the first day on Wednesday. After a week and a half of school, I feel like I am SO behind. It is very frustrating not to have the time to plan and prepare a lot of great activiites, organize my materials, etc., especially since I'm dealing with contract paperwork and moving to a new apartment at the same time! Just keep telling yourself, "It will surely get better!" Hang in there and know that you're not alone.
