Science exchange

Our second grade classes study trees in depth.They did a leaf exchange. They contacted friends and relatives in other places, and they sent a pressed, identified leaf from their state and they displayed them. It was interesting to contrast the leaves people sent with the trees in our area. Another idea might be to try to do something with the weather, since different regions of the country would have different conditions. I teach third grade and would be interested in participating, if you set something up. E-mail me if you want, I live in NJ.
