Clip to ScrapBook
I give out candy and haven't received complaints. I don't give it out everyday. When we play a game and we have a winner (or a team that wins), I give candy to those students. Usually it's just some smarties, those midgie
tootsie rolls (one to each person!), a sucker, hershey kisses/hugs, or those really small reeces peanut butter cups that are the tiny kind with the gold wrapper. I hardly ever give fun sized candy. Some other awards that no one has said yet is an extra credit coupon or a coupon that allows the students a chance to redo an assignment. With the extra credit coupon, they staple it to the assignment,
quiz, or test that they want to use the coupon on. Then you add one point to the grade of the assignment. For example, if they got 16/20 on an assignment and they turned in the extra credit coupon with it, they would get 17/20. With the chace to redo an assignment coupon, they need to staple the old assignment, the new assignment, and the coupon together. When they turn it in, grade the redone assignment and change the grade in your gradebook from the old assignment.
