Centers
By Kelly

Clip to ScrapBook
I love centers! One of the kids favorites is the following directions center. (Part of the listening center) I record myself giving brief but thorough step by step instructions to an activity (craft or page design) they need to listen to each step and complete the instruction before moving on to the next step. When they are complete they move tot he art center to see what my finished product looks like. Goal is to see whose is closest. This really teaches 2 things following directions and the need to be clear and say what you mean not to mention the fine motor skills. The person's whose product is the closest to the intended product gets to dictate the next tape.
