Read Alouds

I read The Wizard of Oz - it is quite different from the movie (the wicked witch only has 1 chapter devoted to her). Kids are glued to me reading it. After we finish, we watch the movie and compare/contrast the two. Last year, many of my students found the continuations to the series, and asked me to read one more out loud.
