I agree with Kiki. $1500 is a drop in the bucket for a professional ball player. You were fined 25,000 and think nothing of it. Get REAL. Some teachers only make $25,000 A YEAR and you are whining?

She is also correct
about what education is about: we are forming the minds of future generations to THINK as an informed citizen to make decisions for our future. If you are going into education as an "amusement" to further your own agenda, please spare us. You probably are set for life with money invested in your "professional job" which will make you flexible to "be pro-active" in teaching and never
worry about getting fired for whatever you say or do.

I am not trying to be disrespectful, but after 20 years of teaching and only now not, even making twice the amount of fines you paid once, it makes me cry. you do not know what teachers go through to keep their "petty paying jobs" and still have to live up to being "professional" without the Bennies.
