"Write from the Beginning"

Lu I can't find another spot where ou posted this so hope its ok to respond here.If this is the program that goes along with "Thinking Maps" our district is using it. It's a wonderful program. However it is very time and labor intensive.Some teachers do feel its too long on organization and not much 'creative'writing. Hopefully you have a good trainer to work with the teachers. I have picked a lot of good ideas from it,mainly from seeing how other teachers have adapted it. Like many programs if all you had to teach was Reading and writing and 'rithmatic it would be great. So if you have time,go through the manual carefully and pull out what works for you. The mini-lessons are great.
