Returning to school
By Marie

Clip to ScrapBook
I'm glad to hear YOU survived! I would absolutely go over the rules again. It will be like the beginning all over. I would also share stories. You can't pretend nothing happened. I'm sure many of the children will be
terrified of thunderstorms and suffer from nightmares. Their innocent little lives have been changed. I think being open and honest about your experience and fears will help them to feel more at peace with their own fears. And allowing them to tell their stories (probably over and over again) will be somewhat theraputic (spelling?) for them.

By the way, exactly where do you live?

I lived in Fort Myers and Cape Coral for a number of years and taught in Fort Myers. My grandparents lived in Punta Gorda (now Indiana thank goodness!) Just curious!
