That is what education has come down to; we make so many exceptions for the few that the rest are often taken advantage of. I don't really care what your disability is; if you can't keep your hands off my breasts then you
have no business in an ordinary classroom until you can! I do not have the training and and I am not a special education teacher. If my gifts and talents lay there I would have gotten a degree in that area. Yes, I can be compassionate, but I will not let others take advatage of me! And the angry poster can just get off her high horse, and not dare make assumptions about me as a teacher.
I am sorry your brother is autistic and had a rough time of it- my sisters are dead. We all have a sob story, but good grief, can't we teachers catch a break and be shown some appreciation? We cannot fix the whole dang world.
