the down side...sorry!

I was one of those kids who did not lose their first tooth until the end of first grade, so I am very sensitive to this...When I was in 1st grade I felt horrible that my name did not appear on the lost tooth poster.

When one of my kids looses a tooth I celebrate with lots of excitement and sharing it with the class, but nothing tangible/reward.
However, all the kids in my school go to the nurse for a little plastic tooth treasure chest necklace to bring their tooth home.
