teeth
By emme

Clip to ScrapBook
If too big a deal is made of it, I have heard of children who will actually work at a tooth til it comes out, often a bit before its ready, just to get their name on the bulletin board.

If a child loses a tooth in school, I send it home in a tooth necklace. I got 144 of them from the "Smilemakers" catalogue for not too much $ and they're lasting years. Empty film canisters with a sticker on them work fine too.

This year I'm starting a "Lost Tooth" journal. When a child loses a tooth at home or at school, they'll get the journal to take home to write down how it happened. It will be packed with a few "lost tooth" storybooks too. The Journal will be displayed with our other class books.
