This kind of goes with the frog/pond stuff:

You could do "A Toadally Awesome Class!" or “Welcome to Mrs. L’s Pad. Put on a smile…and hop on in!”

Then take pictures of your students sitting on a low wall and carefully cut out the photos so you just have the students, and not the background. Then glue them either onto lilypads or onto the backs of frogs, so it looks like they are sitting on them! I think it would be cute!

You could also do something with ponds like "I'm awfully POND of you!" or "Pondering a Great Year." That would also add in with the newts and tree, etc.

Maybe that will inspire something else! Have fun!
