I have K-Kids for 45 minutes...yes it is a long time, but I break it into 2 segments...part one is usually a story that ties in with the day's project. Part two is the project, which ties in with the main Kinder topic of the week. I meet with the K teachers and we discuss what I am going to do with the K-Kids...we really dovetail together, so the kids get re-inforcement from me after the Kinder teacher has taught the topic. We have done this for several years, and it works well. Also, Kinderart.com is an excellent resource for K-Kids projects.
