    You're welcome. If they talk while you are reading a story, you could stop and say "I think we will have to wait until everyone is silent before I can continue with the story" and look right at the ones who are talking. Once they stop, continue. If they start again, I would suggest separating them. It would also be helpful to you if you keep notes or remember the ones who do bad sitting by each other. That way, once you get to know your students better you can assign seats and separate the ones who don't do well together.
