book reports
By Liz

Clip to ScrapBook
My students keep a reading log each month, and they complete a different activity every month to go along with 1 book that they read that month. I do it that way because sometimes I want to focus on one aspect (setting 1 month, character the next, etc...). I pull the activities from a variety of resources like Mailbox magazine, Teacher Created, etc... It changes it up each month and makes it more fun for the kids. Plus, it helps me see if they really understand every part of a book report before I give that toward the end of the year.
