I have parents sign up for snack on the "meet your teacher bring your supply type day" I have some of the parents bring treats for the first week and then I ask for them to sign up for 2 times in a month. We don't have snack every day unless it is the first week. You are right...they are hungry by 9:30. I have the parents send a "storable snack" in at the beginning of each month. I ask for a storable snack so that I can use it when it is convenient. Hope that helps!
