family quilt

I send home a square piece of tag board to each student and have them as a family may a quilt square about their family, using cut up photos, hand drawn pics, fabrics or taped on items of their family life. We hand them on the wall like a quilt and i put ribbon in between all the pieces to represent the stiching. It turns out wonderfully each and every year. I leave it up in the hallway for a long time because the children love looking at each others squares.
