self portraits

My children every year make a self portrait of themselves. I was given frames by a daddy last year, but you could use photo copies frames and have the children draw themselves either close up or in a scene. The children requested last year to hide their names under tags in the hallway and the parents had to guess which was their child. It was such a hit the other first grade teacher is doing it this year. It is a great conversation piece. Have fun in your new school.
