quickword
By KT

Clip to ScrapBook
I have used the Quickword at 3rd grade level for years successfully. After removing the cover to laminate and then reattach, we start them in 2nd grade. Then pass them on to the 3rd and 4th grade teacher for years of use.
They are very inexpensive. I teach a procedure for their use. The student MUST look up the word and have their book open to the proper page before I will spell for them if it is not available on that page. (Their is plenty of space to add words.) I usually have the student do a trial spell themselves first also. The dictionary also has lists of many abbreviations, number words, days, months,
states, and an extensive list of homophones used in sample sentences. You really get alot for your money and well worth purchasing. I have tried making my own and it is very time consuming, uses lots of paper, and is not as inclusive. Good luck!
