re: Scrapbooking

I am planning to have my 6th grade middle school students complete an All About Me scrapbook page. I am planning to ask my students to bring 2-3 pictures of themselves on the second day of school. This will be counted as a homework assignment. You can incorporate computer skills into this by having the students write what their name is, birthdate, names of parents, favorite color, pets, etc. They can paste it on their cardstock paper along with the pictures they brought intos chool. The key is to make sure they have a title and all of the info I mentioned above. They will be graded upon creativity, writing skills, following directions, etc. I am planning to make a worksheet for them to follow before going to the computer lab. If you wish to have a copy, I can e-mail it to you. If you need any more help on this activity, feel free to email me. You can buy the cardstock (8 1/2 by 11 is fine) at Micahels or any craft store.
