Classroom Jobs
By Teresa

Clip to ScrapBook
I list on chart paper the students name. The chart is titled Helping Hands. I have die cuts of lttle hands, each with a job title on it. The student with the job has the hand next to their name on the chart. I usually switch
jobs each 6 weeks. My jobs are:
Line leader - My students line up in the same order (ABC) throughtout the entire year. So I use line leader to give each a chance at leading.

Calander Helper - Writes date on board daily in two formats.

Librarian-Keeps class library in order.

Substitute-Does job of any absent helping hand.

Schedule Monitor-Changes the indicator outside of

our door whenever we leave the room.

Desk Monitor-Checks desks at the end of each day. (I am kinda anal about whats in the desk.)

Floor Monitor - Checks that everything is picked up at the end of the day or after we do any artsy type projects.

Attendance Monitor-Takes daily attendance to office.

Paper Monitor-Passes or collects any papers when needed.

Messenger-Delivers any messages that I need to send outside the room.

Board/Transparency Cleaner

Computer Monitors-Turns on/off computers.

Plant Monitor - Cares for the plants.

Hope this helps!
