Someone posted writing the rules on a large paper bag (or the brown paper used for mailing packages) and then having the children all sign the paper...burning the edges so that it looks like the Declaration of Independence. I thought that seemed like a fun activity. The kids were to come up with the rules among themselves, then they were okayed by the teacher.
