Don't quit
By Carolyn

Clip to ScrapBook
I hate to see you quit. I think you should make an appointment to see your principal and speak with him about your concerns. The Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 enables you to take up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave in a 12 month period for specified family and medical reasons. This would apply if you have to care for an immediate family member with a health condition. Perhaps you could think about taking a leave of absence from your job instead of quitting. If you, yourself, have health problems, you can also apply for a leave of absence under this act.
