Let Princiapl know yourself

I would kindly decline (giving all the reasons the other posters mentioned), and then I would also let the Principal know that I declined as well. That way you get to speak for yourself in front of the Principal regardless of what the other teacher goes back and says to him/her. Good luck, and let us know how things turned out!
