My lesson plans are at school, but for the first weeek this is basically what I do...
Language Arts- I take this time to briefly go over each letter of the alphabet. I use a puppet to make this more fun. I also have CDs that I highly reccommend by Dr. Jean (you can order them at www.drjean.org)that go over the sounds of the alphabet. I read a lot of books to them and discuss setting, main idea, characters, problem in the story. Then you can do a small writing lesson with them-on chart paper- about the book.
In math I review patterns, shapes, one-to-one correspondence, colors
In social science I do an "All About Me" unit.
