I will be in my 4th year of teaching 1st grade. I think this is a great idea. The only change I'll make is you get a "punch" for 100's and Good Behavior.

I've had C students with great behavior and "100" students with lousy behavior, especially with being boastful and gloating about their grade and "rubbing it in" the other children's faces. So this year, I even the score. You'll get a punch always for good behavior, but if your nasty about your 100, no punch.
