I was pregnant during my second year of teaching. I had a very easy pregnancy, so, although I was tired and achy, I was able to work. I was very ready for summer vacation though!! Your first year of teaching is very demanding(so is your second year!) Teaching while pregnant isn't necessarily too tough, but when you're caring for a newborn it can be! I spent soooo much time at school during my first two years (usually staying late,) but once I had my daughter, I wanted to be done at 3:45. I don't know if I could have done that in my first year.Anyway, that's my perspective. Everyone is different, so take your time to think it all over, and follow your gut. Good luck!
