brain gym

Clip to ScrapBook
We've done some inservices with Brain Gym in my school too. I've found a few of the simpler exercises calm the children down, help them focus, and can make a calm transition possible. I imagine a few yoga stretching and breathing exercises would do the same.If you google brain gym you'll find a site that mentions a few easy ones to do in a classroom setting. I also agree with them when they say we should be drinking more water, and I encourage my children to have water bottles on their desks and sip from them often. I do also.
