age appropriate
By Barb

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi,

I am an elementary teacher but hopefully can give some ideas for age appropriate ways to teach these things:

for counting...have them count pictures or items that are cool for teenages: cars, cds, etc. Find X # of things in a teen magazine, newspaper, etc.

for addresses...practice filling in job applications, writing letters to friends, family, etc.

Time....making schedules for work, matching digital to analog for a daily schedule.

Good luck!
