I would love you to visit my classroom! We have developed an age appropiate program which meet the needs of all our children.I have created an active learning environment for my little ones. We have a strong lanuage arts
program, which prepares our children for 1st grade. My lessons are exiting, fun and creative. During that time the children are actively engaged in the skills being taught.I believe that children learn best through hands-on activities that are fun. We play reading and math games during the day. In math I have been trained in Math Their Way, which I'm sure you know about. We have thematic

units that are taught each day and intergrated into the curriculm whenever possible. My literacy centers (40 minutes) provide an opportunity for children to pratice reading and writing skill. We rotate for centers and I have the "reading room".
I have a degree in Early Childhood, otherwise I couldn't teach kindergarten. I also have been a mentor, supervised student teachers, and have been involved in a partnership with the University. I have a lot experience, yet I am learning everyday. You have to have a "passion" for this job. I love them like my own. Remember that each child is unique, and should be treated as an individual, so it good to have a bag of tricks. Behavior is another issue and, again, you have to do what works best for you. I happen to not have problems solving issues in that area, so often I have the children with issues.
Just lighten up....the way you write sends the wrong message. No two teachers are alike and they bring their own talents to the table.
If I was a new teacher reading what you have written it would stress me out.
