Grades for Contracts? By Donna

All of these contract ideas sound good, but I wouldn't want my entire class turning in all their work on the same day. Especially not on a Friday, when I'm looking forward to the weekend. Do you grade it all? I would think you'd at least have to check it all and return it to the students. Otherwise, they feel they've done all that work for nothing.
That's why I've never tried contracts. I like having one piece of homework due on a certain day. Then I'm not overwhelmed with a mountain of papers to grade on one day, or on the weekend.
