Pull card system

I teach third but I think this would work for 5th. I am putting library pockets on desk. Each week students will get three yellow ("Slow down and redirect yourself"). They will also get three green (Keep going with the
great behavior). I will make a generic number page and copy thier numbers to these. On the front will be the student's number. On the back of the yellow will be a form. If they pull the yellow they fill out the form and put it on the corner of their desk for it to be picked up and filed. On the form they will fill out what they were doing, give me three consequences that fit, write

who their behavior affected, who they need to apologize to, and what they need to change. I haven't designed them yet so we'll see but I'd like to get that on them. I will file the yellow ones and if they lose more than three they also do not get their extra recess on Friday. If they pull a green they fold it and put it in my helper box. I draw from that when I need a helper. No class jobs for me!
