At the beginning of the week, you stick three sticker-dots on each student's desk. O O O You also have a few small, laminated circle cut-outs to serve as physical warnings. If a student is misbehaving, you place a circle on his/her desk (not sticky, just lies there somewhere, all day I guess). If the misbehavior continues, you tell the student to peel off a sticker-dot. O O x At the end of the week, the students who still have all three dots get a special reward... extra recess, computer lab, video, kickball, popcorn, something. I would add that if a sticker dot has to be peeled off, I would write a brief note in that student's agenda (assignment book, signed by parents) that afternoon. Also... I looked at sticker dots at Wal-Mart today - they were all "permanent." I would be sure to find some that were fairly easy to peel off. =o)
