behavior plan
By emme

Clip to ScrapBook
I very much admire those with great personal confidence in their classroom management skills. I suspect different plans work for different people, depending on their children, their own personality, and the number of behavior problems they are dealing with. We are all just doing our best for our kids, and most kids in my classes seem to want to behave most of the time (likely not because of me but because of their upbringing.)

My own classroom kids seem to love the "marble jar", especially at the beginning when they're just not ready to look inside themselves for intrinsic motivation for good behavior. I find it easy to maintain, and I also like the part where everyone works together, and everyone shares the positive result.
