student performance

Clip to ScrapBook
Dear First Grade Teacher,
Try not to worry about those test scores being compared by the other teachers. Any teacher worth her salt knows that it's not about which children scored the highest, but about how much each child improved from where each child started.
Be sure to assess all of your students in EVERY subject at the beginning of the year so that you can watch their progression. There is nothing more rewarding then seeing academic growth. That's what it's all about. Best of luck to you.
