Teacher of the Year is a Joke!!

At our school "teacher of the year" is such a joke. The nomination usually goes through 3-6 people before someone will accept it!! Last year the committee said that if you were asked you couldn't turn it down...yea, right!!! We have a couple of teachers who wish they could be the nominee every year so we have to keep it going but the majority keeps turning it down.
