teacher cliques

Our school used to be "plagued" by a teacher clique, and I agree, it is not a good thing. Our problem arose from a few teachers and the assistant principal. They had a way of making all the others feel unimportant and "out of the loop." A couple of key players , as well as the assistant principal, are no longer at the school, due to transfers and retirement, and the atmosphere has improved 200%! Even those who were left behind have ceased to be so exclusive and it has made for a good place to work.
