socialzing

I feel there is a lot of pressure for teachers to socialize outside the classroom as well. Though I enjoy being with my co-workers during the day, I also enjoy being with my husband and my non-teacher friends. When I say no to after school drinks or get-togethers with my co-workers I feel I get the cold shoulder and I see that I'm not being asked in the future to go out. Sometimes it's hard to find the right balance!!
