Rezoning By TX teacher

I just got laid off from a suburban school due to rezoning. Also because I am just a regular ed. teacher. I am not bi-lingual or special ed. trained. They were kept!
I am so mad because this is my second career and I answered the call for more teachers. Now I am looking for another job and it will be outside of teaching. I am a great teacher but after a couple of years of hassels due to politics I am fed up.
If you are still in school then you need to be more that just a regular ed. teacher.
I know!
