Thanks for your insights

This will be my first year teaching gifted (6th grade middle school Science and Geography). I'm so looking forward to starting in a few weeks. I've taught 3rd - 5th and 7th - 9th Basic Ed., but never G/T. When I interviewed for a Remedial Reading position at the same school, the assistant principal called me later and said, "I want you to interview for the gifted openings." I'm hoping that she saw in me, the qualities that you mentioned above.
