supplies
By Cathy-Dee

Clip to ScrapBook
I know what you mean, but so far what I've been doing the last few years seems to be working out ok.

I first put up an overhead asking parents to put the following items in their child's desk and to put the rest of the
items into a zip-lock bag that I have on their child's desk.

I then take all the zip lock bags to one table and sort them after school if need be.

I try to grab a few parents and ask them to stay and help - it does help having the note up as they feel they should stay for a few minutes at least.

I store all the extra supplies in the ziplock bags and I put all the bags into two tubs

(one for boys and one for girls).

While we are sorting things in the morning I have a colouring activity for the students to work on until everyone has arrived.
