Camping!
By Teri

Clip to ScrapBook
On the Third Grade Board someone made binoculars out of toilet paper tubes glued together, painted gold with a string attached. They used these to go on a scavenger hunt for various places around school. Cute, huh! My camp had a sign outside the door that said "Welcome to Camp Learnalotta". I have set up a small tent in my room and used it as a reading area. We sang "On Top of Spaghetti", and I let the kids bring a beach blanket to lay on and a stuffed animal to read to around the "campfire". We measured out materials to use in trail mix for an afternoon snack. We did our campout in our room at the end of school but maybe these will give you some ideas!
